Conceptualising of a three-dimensional Operating System and Developing of a Prototype

I was the elected project manager of this project which was rewarded with a 100% grade.

In a team of five, we developed a concept of how a 3d operating system could look like and how it should be implemented. To support this process, I developed a perl-driven website which functioned as a content management system. It enabled every team member to upload their most recent articles which were automatically integrated into the web structure. This enabled our website visitors to track our progress instantly.

We gained industry support and were sponsored by several companies, including one in London, which allowed us to spend several days in their office to receive training.

Our prototype was well received and included a full 3d world to navigate through using a head mounted display and a 3d mouse.
