Semi-Finalist of MIT 50k Entrepreneurship competition

Outside my busy schedule at the MIT, I participated in the MIT 50k Entrepreneurship Competition. It is a highly competitive competition designed to encourage students and researchers in the MIT community to "act on their talent, ideas and energy to produce tomorrow's leading firms". Our team consisted of people from MIT and Harvard Business School, and together we developed a business plan for next generation mobile phones in the USA. I drew from my experiences from the workshops "Effectiveness in an Organization" and "Venture Capital for High-Tech Start-Ups", which I attended in Cambridge, USA. Our team was very multidisciplinary, which was to my liking, and supported by a self-produced video, we made it to the semi-finals!

Significant Achievement Award

My novel work on interface design for streaming media at FX Palo Alto Laboratories was seen as "Start-up potential" by senior management, and consequently, I received a Significant Achievement Award for the development of the mediacaptain.

Media Lab Europe Fellow

For my achievements at Media Lab Europe, I was awarded Media Lab Europe Fellow by the MIT Media Lab, emphasizing my international connection between the two laboratories.
